In 2021 Unsigned BC created the “BC’s Song of the Summer” contest - a competition open to original songs in all genres created by BC residents. It was a major success, with well over 100 submissions and numerous prizes.

In 2023 Unsigned BC revived the competition in a big way. There were nearly 200 submissions and many of them were good enough to be considered for nomination. As was noted by the judges and sponsors, the quality of the submissions were incredible. You can learn about it here.

In 2024 we increased the success of previous years with over 200 submissions and more and better prizes! You can learn about it here.
