Timothy O is a down-to-earth recording artist in Victoria, BC.

When asked about the genre of his music, Timothy describes it as evolving, with pop in its roots, and some songs having a country-pop vibe, influenced by memories of his parents playing country music throughout his childhood.

Timothy started writing music in the early 90s, with a couple songs being played on local pop radio stations in Vancouver. He also performed a few times at local events and clubs.

Soon after, however, Timothy was diagnosed with epilepsy; an event that took away his confidence in creating any more music. Through hardships and life experiences, his confidence came back later on in life. He realized the melodies in his head remained strong and he began writing and recording music again in 2021.

From 2021 to 2024, he worked with producer Aaron Hubley and created six songs which received rave reviews and continue to grow in online streams. In May of 2025, he worked with producer Thomas P and released “Excuse Me, My Life” and then started working with producer Steve Kroeger and released “Memories Of Summer” (July) and “Behind The Purple Door” (August). More songs are written and will be released.

With various songs and videos released, this has Timothy, a proud Indigenous/Japanese Canadian, back in the dream of creating music, regardless of setbacks. Timothy encourages everyone to be in-the-moment and take those second chances…
