Mivule is a multicultural band incorporating the sounds of Reggae, Afrobeat and Dub, with lyrics in English and various African languages. The name “Mivule” is derived from the Mivule Tree, which is a type of teak wood tree found in Uganda. The tree is a place where the village meets to settle disputes. Mivule represents a collaborative process of making peace.
