Marie Dresselhuis, a singer-songwriter from Vancouver, has captured audiences with her blend of humor, charm and relatable storytelling. Discovering her passion for music at the age of 8, Marie got her start in music as a classically trained pianist and has since established herself as an up-and-coming artist. Her recent performance, opening for Matt Maltese at the iconic Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver, has marked a significant milestone in her career. 

Her music, inspired by the likes of Ben Rector, Lizzy McAlpine, and Searows, intertwines raw emotion with wit, crafting narratives that resonate deeply with her audience. This connection is evident in her social media presence, with nearly 10,000 followers and over 1 million video views on TikTok alone. 

Marie’s debut EP, released in March 2024, has been met with welcoming arms from new fans, securing a spot on over 1,500 playlists and hitting more than 100,000 Spotify streams. 

Currently, Marie is channeling her passion into her next project, demonstrating her commitment to creating music that provides fans with spaces for imagining and healing.
